About Tech Prep
Education is based upon an important school-to-work transition strategy developed to help all students make the connection between school and employment.
What is an articulated high school course?
It is a high school course that has been determined to be comparable to specific community college courses. An approved articulated high school course may be accepted in lieu of a comparable community college course to satisfy the requirements for a certificate program or the major requirements of a degree program.
Mt. San Jacinto College offers articulated course credit for many disciplines including the following:
- Automotive Technology
- Business Administration
- Child Development & Education
- Computer Information Systems
- Medical Assisting
- Graphic Design
- Web Design
- 3D Animation
- Photography
- Theatre Arts & Music
The process for establishing an articulation agreement for a high school or ROP course can be initiated by either the community college faculty in the appropriate discipline or the staff of the high school or ROP course.
